Centerpole staid up past midnight and then we BTHOLSU. So I’m sending @studentbonfire a little PayPal gratitude for the win. A gift to @kidz1stfund is also an outstanding way to celebrate. BTHOLSU! BTHOB!

This is what Bonfire motivation looks like. Batten

This is what Bonfire motivation looks like. Batten Drilling - already loaded down with paying projects all over Aggieland - came to set the Outhouse after Last Shift. They also drill and raise Centerpole and the Windle Sticks every year. All for free. When they came in the gate, they knew they were taking a risk that their equipment might not get out. But they also knew that Bonfire needed them. Sure enough, their 8-wheel-drive truck got stuck just outside Stack’s Perimeter. It took another piece of motivation - a donated loaner tractor - to pull it out. Eventually the Outhouse was set. It would take until the next day and a bulldozer to get Batten’s truck off site. Just in time. The rains that would come would only make matters far worse.
