Due to COVID protocols, Bonfire was unable to host a full in-person Burn event. Burn is the primary source of revenue for funding the next Bonfire. Without in-person attendance, there is no revenue for the next year. The students felt strongly that they needed to provide an experience to Aggies everywhere after what had been a trying year for everyone. They prepared to double down on fundraising over the offseason and staged a Burn relying on the the live stream that has been a part of Bonfire since 2014. The county generously allowed participants and a limited number of guests to attend. Speaking of generosity, supporters of Bonfire donated before, throughout, and after Burn to make Bonfire 2021. In sum, Burn Night at Bonfire 2020 was one of the most motivating Burns to date.
